Hans B. Hans Bär was a pioneer in banking. He transformed the bank Julius Bär from a family-owned business into a publicly listed company. Besides being a banker, he was president of the Tonhalle, a famous concert hall, and also founded the Zurcher Festspiele, a leading cultural event in Zurich.
